Visited this amazing place in December with a group of friends. I've never had any experience with underwater macro photography and I brought my camera, my dive guide taught me how to take photos, guided me to some amazing creatures I'd never seen before and patiently waited and helped me out with photos -that photo.

Two giant thumbs up for him. The rest of the crew were fantastic, our boat captain was very helpful and friendly, the manager, was downright the friendliest and most helpful person I've ever met. Very well managed place with good dive services, delicious food and spacious comfortable rooms. The dive center itself has great facilities, places to set up your camera, ample washing areas and a good boat with hot towels and snacks. Highly recommended if you want to dive the legendary Lembeh.

Most dive resorts don't pay much attention to the atmosphere and food, because the focus of guests who come is usually more on the divesite and supporting facilities for diving.

But at YOS Dive Lembeh, it's like finding a family in the family dining room. The warmth of the resort manager along with the dive guide creates a very close atmosphere which results in closeness between guests. Advice and tips for diving and photos were never stopped being shared among the guests. I almost never locked my room when I left, in fact most of the guests spent their time chatting or reading in the open dining room, not hiding in the room.

Talking about food is another interesting thing, dishes in the form of delicious local menus, cooked just before serving. Dinner is always a long table with all the guests sitting and talking together, even guests coming in different groups. This makes the guests already know each other on the second day.

The dive guides and boatmen are no less than the resort crew, they are friendly, very helpful and know this area very well. There are even many dive guides here who understand cameras and photography so that it becomes an added value for underwater photography enthusiasts.

YOS Dive Resort makes the surface atmosphere as interesting as the underwater critters in Lembeh.
